There’s been a Spring in everyones step at
Creamery Brook

There’s been an air of excitement and anticipation at Creamery Brook the past few months. After a long winter that had a good amount of snow, the residents have been dusting off their walking shoes, sharpening up the garden tools, and getting ready for all of the exciting events coming up over the spring and summer months.

The excitement got a great kick-off on March 26 at an Afternoon Art Show. Residents and friends were invited to bring artwork - whether it was created years ago or just last month - to the Community Room to display.

The amount and variety of artwork astounded everyone. From handmade pottery to detailed paintings, from a model airplane to intricate needlework, from handmade quilts to pillow dolls - the arts were all represented.

There were paintings by artists, such as Corrie Triewth, who had painted all of her life and continues to paint to this day, to a beautiful little watercolor by
Ralph Sequine which was from his youth and the only painting he had ever done.

The afternoon sunshine and the flowers in the paintings and fabrics were a wonderful way to say “hello spring.”
